New European regulations affect Meta.

Meta has had to implement the new European data protection regulations imposed by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) and the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC). This regulation prohibits the use of personal data to create ads targeted at people without their consent.

This regulation affects Meta's Audiences API, which allows advertisers to create custom audiences based on behavioral data, such as the websites people have visited, the apps they have used, and the products they have purchased.

As a result of this regulation, Meta has had to modify the Audiences API to be GDPR-compliant. This has affected 80% of its European audience.

The company has stopped collecting behavioral data from European users. Now, it can only activate 20% of the total population.

This makes it difficult for advertisers in Europe to create ads that target people effectively.

FSBD (Full Stack Big Data) offers a solution to this problem.

At FSBD we have been working on alternative solutions to digital data for over 5 years. These unique solutions on the market work with Telco data and Digital data.

These solutions allow advertisers to locate high-quality and reliable custom audiences, even in the context of the new European regulations.
